1Million in Partners Innovation Development Grants Winners Announced

One of the winners–Bonventre Lab!

We are seeing the continued boom of innovation in the Boston area!

Last fall Partners announced a new grant program aimed at engaging and promoting innovation across their community.  The newly-created Innovation Development Grants (IDG) provides $1 million to accelerate the creation of new products stemming from the ideas and inspirations of creative scientists, clinicians and employees in the Partners HealthCare system.

This week, grants of up to $50,000 each were awarded to 20 winners.  The 20 projects were selected from nearly 350 applications.  The Parners Executive Committee on Research says, “We were thrilled with the number and quality of these proposals.  The level of interest and the amazing ideas that were shared with us speak to the innovative spirit that exists across the Partners HealthCare family.”
