“Right now, patients are at the center of a very disconnected healthcare system,” Amy Cueva says. As Chief Experience Officer and founder of Mad*Pow, she believes that we’re ripe for new opportunities as we morph to leverage technology that connects people with information.
“Young professionals should try to understand the entirety of the health journey for their stakeholders; it seems obvious but few do it,” Cueva says. “It is essential to include the people who will be affected by the solutions we create.”
One of Cueva’s biggest achievements last year was opening Mad*Pow on the West Coast; her goal for 2015 is to work in concert with a client to launch a “behavior change” expertise, proven by real data from a clinical trial.
