How will you use emotion-sensing technologies to improve healthcare?
Submit your ideas to Partners HealthCare Connected Health 2015 Emotion Sensing Pitch Off launched today on Medstro, the social network for physicians.
The contest is open to any clinician or clinician-in-training. Applications can be in any setting, from the clinic to the classroom to the patient’s home or anywhere else the technology can be applied to improve healthcare.
Submissions will be accepted through Monday, September 14. The Medstro community will vote for three finalists to present their ideas at the Partners HealthCare Connected Health Symposium on October 28 in Boston.
Contestants will have two chances to win!
Three emotion sensing companies, Emotional Sciences, Empatica and InteraXon, are each providing two of their products to the three finalists for this award. The winning ideas will display the most innovative use of emotion sensing technology to solve a healthcare problem, improve patient outcomes, streamline clinician workflow or save cost.
The American Resident Project is offering a prize worth up to $2000 to the winner of this prize based on the finalists’ live presentations.
The Partners HealthCare Connected Health 2015 Pitch Off: Emotion Sensing is sponsored by Partners HealthCare and The American Resident Project. A complete list of contest rules can be found online.
