This multi-functional device helps “track and improve your sleep,” according to its website, so that users “wake up smoothly at the best time of [their] sleep cycle.” A sensor goes underneath the mattress and can track moving, breathing and heart rate while an additional bedside device tracks light and temperature. Together, this information combines in the app to track and analyze up to two users’ slumbers.
Using a simulated sunrise, the bedside device can wake users at the lightest point in their sleep cycles around the time they wish to wake up. The device also has a powernap option, in addition to speakers, a clock and a USB charging port. It can also pair with Nest thermostats.
Withings Aura is currently available for iOS only, and retails for $299.95.
