Gandhi believes healthcare is trending towards greater emphasis on return on investment. “Entrepreneurs who have the foresight to collect and analyze data to prove their return on investment of their services will win,” adds Gandhi. Moreover, as healthcare transitions more to outpatient settings, building devices that collect continuous information will become pivotal in supporting recovery.
Gandhi is a resident physician at Massachusetts General Hospital and the chief medical officer at Wellable, a mobile data driven startup focused on analyzing data to assist employers in their wellness efforts. They’ve reached over $250,000 in revenue and have partnered with the Clinton Foundation and New Balance.
