Philips is excited to announce our upcoming innovation challenge: The Philips Wearables & Chronic Care Challenge.
The Philips Wearables & Chronic Care Challenge is an open call for solutions that reimagine how care is delivered through the seamless integration of clinical-grade wearable sensors, predictive analytics, mobile apps, connectivity, med management, patient education & engagement and other transformative experiences. Participants are encouraged to think of holistic ways of solving tough, multi-disciplinary challenges surrounding the management of patients with chronic conditions through combination of technology around wearables, software & analytics to help make meaningful decisions.
Submissions are open to any interested party, including clinicians, engineers, entrepreneurs, patients, caregivers, designers, artists, etc. Anyone with ideas on how to further the Triple Aim in the management of patients with chronic diseases is welcome to apply.
The online challenge will run for two months beginning July 25, during which time the panel of judges and the community at large can offer feedback and suggestions to each team, who can then refine their submission up until the submission deadline. After that, finalists will be determined based on a combination of online voting and the votes of the panel of judges.
The finalists of the online challenge will be invited to pitch their ideas in front of a live audience, and will be eligible to win up to $10,000 in cash prizes.
Submissions are now open—submit your idea today!
