His own interest in healthcare was cemented in college, when he found that work with his finance start-up was most rewarding when it involved helping others. Kohli says he realized that “caring for someone who’s going through the toughest time of their life, and not just monetary pursuits, was my true calling.”
Kohli is now a Resident Physician in Radiology/Interventional Radiology at Drexel University College of Medicine, where he also attended medical school. For Kohli, the best part of radiology is remaining a perpetual student. “Radiology is combining the most innovative aspects of healthcare and technology and doing so from a systems perspective – solving problems at scale.”
Kohli has remained an entrepreneur since college. He has launched two clinical trials, one working with wearable technology in surgical oncology, and the other on mobile applications in chronic disease management. Currently, he’s working part-time to launch a mobile platform to streamline care for breast cancer patients, from diagnosis to delivery.
When he’s not working, Kohli enjoys reading and sharing pizza with his girlfriend and family.
