Lee’s current research is in drug delivery for urology and he says he feels privileged to be able to have the freedom to pursue his own experiments, milestones and scientific strategy. He most enjoys exploring translational research for unmet medical needs.
Lee says one of his goals for graduate school was to better understand his path towards becoming an entrepreneur. Recon’s product has beginnings in one of Lee’s classes at MIT, Medical Device Design, and “it facilitates intuitive ‘reconstitution,’ a fancy word for mixing powdered injections that require patients to dissolve with fluid at the point of care.’”
When he’s not working, Christopher enjoys traveling, especially on a spontaneous whim.
