Last Thursday, the Boston Scientific Connected Patient Challenge concluded with a live even at Google’s headquarters in Kendall Square. The focus of this year’s challenge was improving patient care through IoT.
Six teams pitched in front of a live panel of expert judges who determined two winners to award $50k of in-kind services from Boston Scientific.
First place winner, AmIAware, is a rapid point of care detection platform, using multiple markers to differentiate chest pain patients most likely to advance to a heart attack from those who can be safely discharged with clinical information to aid their management.
Second place winner, Proximie, is a cloud based Augmented Reality platform designed for surgical training and collaboration.
Congratulations to this year’s winners!
