The Boston Scientific Connected Patient Challenge, sponsored by Boston Scientific and Google Cloud Platform, finished up online voting last Sunday and the six finalists have been selected. Selections were based on a combination of crowd votes and scoring by a panel of expert judges.
The submission deadline in the Boston Scientific Connected Patient Challenge was yesterday at midnight, by which time the online competition had received 45 total submissions. The competition, hosted by Medstro, the social network for physicians, has now entered the "Crowd Voting Phase" during which anyone may visit the site to vote for their favorite submissions.
Google will be offering $25,000 in Google Cloud Platform credits to the winner of the Boston Scientific Connected Patient Challenge, which has been running on Medstro since October. This is in addition to the $25,000 prize already offered by Boston Scientific, the primary sponsor of the challenge. The challenge is accepting submissions until January 8, 2016.
