Idea PitchFest

Come pitch your ideas  at BWH’s Second Annual Clinical Innovation Day!

4-5 PM, Wednesday, June 11, 2014, in Bornstein Amphitheater

Do you have an idea for a health IT product, care redesign solution, bio-therapeutic, device, or diagnostic that keeps you up at night that you would love to turn in”ality? Disappointed that you missed out on the BWH Hackathon where over 100 people pitched, developed, and demo’d their ideas in less than 36 hours?
Well, look no further! At this year’s Clinical Innovation Day, we are hosting the first annual BWH Idea Pitchfest! You will have the opportunity to come ‘pitch’ your idea to a panel of expert judges. The goal of the Pitchfest is to help advance innovations in Health IT, care redesign, therapeutic, device, or diagnostic. If the judges like your idea, you have the opportunity to win an award to help push your idea forward. In addition, you could win a 3-hour design engagement with Mad*Pow, one of the premier design consulting firms in the Boston area, individual mentor time with venture capitalists & iHub team members, interviews at one of the health tech accelerator programs, the opportunity to build collaborations across the hospital and Boston healthcare community, and so much more!

Please note: this can be an idea still in your head ‘ it does not need to have more structure around it!
If interested, please submit a 300-word summary of your ‘pitch’ idea here. Each submission will be reviewed prior to Clinical Innovation Day by the BWH iHub team who will select 10-15 lucky BWH employees/clinicians to come pitch their idea for 2 minutes in front of a live panel of judges! This pitch contest is open to all BWH employees and we welcome fresh ideas, along with ideas that have initial prototypes or even customers! Deadww.orionbionetwo
