On Friday, January 19, 2018 at the “Community Health Workers’ Value to Healthcare” event, join employers, insurers, and policymakers, sponsored by Rhode Island College’s Institute for Education in Health Care and the Community Health Worker Association of Rhode Island (CHWARI). The event will be at Room 110, Alger Hall, Rhode Island College, from 12pm – 4pm.
Dr. Alexander Scott will lead a focused conversation regarding CHWs and healthcare transformation efforts. Keynote speaker Jill Feldstein, MPA, the Chief Operating Officer of the Penn Center for Community Health Workers, will highlight current research and strategies regarding “return-on-investment” of Community Health Workers. Breakout sessions, facilitated stakeholders experienced in utilizing CHWs, will follow, allowing participants to ask the hard questions and problem-solve with peers and industry leaders.
