David Rose of the MIT Media Lab will be visiting the Healthbox Boston office to discuss his healthcare startup experiences and share insights on raising money, scaling, and succeeding in healthcare. David is a product designer, teacher, and serial entrepreneur.
Currently, David is the CEO at Vitality, a wireless health company that makes the award-winning GlowCap, the first Internet-connected medication packaging. David was co-founder and CEO of Ambient Devices where he created glanceable technology: embedding Internet information in everyday objects like light bulbs and umbrellas to make the physical objects an interface to digital information. David founded Viant’s Innovation Center, an advanced technology group for Fortune 500s including Sony, GM, Schwab, Sprint and Kinkos. He helped build Viant to over 900 people, $140M and a successful IPO.
