JDRF TypeOneNation Summit Boston 2017

Join us for our annual educational summit that brings together all within the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community. Learn about research advances, participate in discussions with experts, and meet others living with T1D. Educational sessions will be focused on T1D care and management, and will be geared for different audiences.

The event is open to anyone impacted by T1D. Children and teens are invited to enjoy a fun-filled day featuring arts and crafts, games, and a role model presentation.

After the conclusion of TypeOneNation, we invite you to join us at our new T1D Performance in Exercise and Knowledge (PEAK) program. PEAK is a unique outreach initiative to increase education on the management of physical activity for individuals living with T1D. Its goal is to break new ground in supporting safe, informed exercise within the T1D community.

Please note: The audience for this program is patients with T1D who exercise or wish to exercise, and their caregivers. We will also be offering the PEAK program for healthcare providers on Friday, February 10 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place. The event will include supervised, fun activities for children of all ages with T1D and their siblings, including an exclusive discussion with Caroline Marshall. Please note: Parents/caregivers are responsible for their child’s diabetes management during the event.
